Sightseeing at Mojikou today

Tday, after some team house cleaning (I manned the vacuum) Bikke and Katsuhiko took me to Mojikou wich is a port town about a 45 minute drive from home. Its quite a historic town as it used to be a majot por town many years ago. It kinda of reminded me of downtown Auckland in parts...

Then we checked out this gift shop and they had HEAPS of Ghibli music boxes... there all play various Ghibli themes, soooo awesome! Kinda pricey though, so I restrained myself and will wait for the Ghibli museum!

That one on the right, when you wind it up, Totoro`s chest rises and falls like him sleeping in the movie.. it was tooooooo cute!

This one is for DEBRA! This shop had the most lollies i`ve ever seen! All of them Japanese! It was crazy! My teeth hurt just looking at them...

Here is a green leaf mochi, or something of the sort! It was hot which was good considering it was FREEZING.

Here is a brewery/restaurant place that they took me to to try a few of the local beers. I also had some vegan furaido poteito, or chips n_n
